Laila has been asked to look into thieving in her uncle’s company that he can’t trace. She runs an investigation firm and is extremely good at what she does. But so is the person siphoning off supplies. How she finds out what is going on and who is involved made for a fascinating read . I loved this story and now I know it’s part of a series I’m going to go back and read the first instalment. Laila has ASD of some description and it makes her quite a vulnerable character in some ways. Her attempt to get by in a neuro- typical world is helped by her family. In other ways she is miles ahead of other people and brilliant at her job. I enjoyed this element of her character. Trinity was a intriguing women and I want to know more about her. Her strength and commitment in many areas of her life was inspiring. There’s certainly depth to this story and it went way beyond what I expected.I was given this ARC by Ylva Publishing in return for an honest review.
