Review of ‘Addicted to You’ by Erin O’Reilly

Addicted To You’ is a story of obsession, sexual discovery and passion. It is also a story of love, redemption and realisation. Elin is young, naive and ripe for the picking. Older woman Marissa spots this right away and takes full advantage. She is predatory, manipulative and downright nasty. Boy did I hate her! I wanted Elin to see all of this for herself, but good people don’t always see when they are being used. I was so happy when Aimee came into the picture. Would Elin realise what a wonderful woman she was though? I enjoyed the character development in this book and seeing how they each dealt with changes in their lives. Erin O’Reilly always leaves me happy to have gone on the journey with her.

Review of ‘Racing for Love’ by JM Dragon and Erin O’Reilly

Lena Corkhill is a horse trainer who finds herself attracted to her boss Kate Lawrence. Both women are strong characters who think they know exactly what they want from life. That is until they meet each other. The attraction is instant but it takes them a while to act on it. ‘Racing for Love’ is a very passionate and hot love story with a ‘boo hiss’ villain in the shape of Cordelia, an ex of Lena’s.

The story gives an interesting insight into the world of thoroughbred horse breeding and horse racing. The connection between the women is much more than I expected and was pivotal. I liked both main characters and the baddie really was a horror in the vein of a pantomime villain.

Review of ‘Say You Won’t Go’ by JM Dragon and Erin O’Reilly

‘Say You Won’t Go’ by JM Dragon and Erin O’Reilly is a book that really pulled me in.  It is an emotional story, full of intense passion and two main characters that I adored from the start. Logan is passing through town when her truck breaks down, meaning she has to stay put for a lot longer than she planned. Shy waitress Taryn is drawn to her immediately and from that moment they are inseparable. Taryn has a tough life with an uncaring mother who is widely known as the town slut. Logan brings out things in Taryn that were long submerged and I loved seeing how she changed. Logan was like a knight in shining armour and completely wonderful.  Sometimes we need someone to give us the courage to be who we can be and Logan was that person. Taryn’s mother Brenda was a horror and so well written.  I found myself enjoying the story more and more as it went on and was reluctant to put it down until I got to the very end. Having read the ‘Heaven Meets Hell’ series by these authors I was not surprised that they had penned another winner. I highly recommend ‘Say You Won’t Go’.

Review of ‘The Organization’ by Annette Mori and Erin O’Reilly

‘The Organization’ comprises a group of women intent on punishing some of the evil doers in this world.  By going after sex traffickers and mobsters they try to save some of the young girls whose lives have been ruined.  Val goes undercover as the bodyguard of a Russian mob boss but finds herself attracted to his wife Gina.  Will this affect her mission?  Seemingly tough as nails and relationship-phobic this is the last thing her compatriots expected to happen.

The story is full of tension and intrigue and is one of those books you just don’t want to put down till the end.  And you don’t want it to end either! Mobster Leonid is an evil, repulsive character and I so wanted him to get what he deserved.  There are some light-hearted moments throughout and rather touching and beautifully romantic encounters. A really fantastic read – but what else can you expect from the inspired pairing of Annette Mori and Erin O’Reilly?

Review of ‘Next Time’ by Erin O’Reilly

This is a story of two sets of women, connected through time.  It is a beautiful and at time heart-wrenching tale but oh so worth investing in.  Erin O’Reilly’s latest novel is a tender love story with a twist and deals with the fraught and difficult relationship between Carol and Jac and how their feelings for each other have an unexpected impact.  I don’t want to give away too much and spoil it for others but I can highly recommend it as the sheer heights of emotion engendered are staggering.  The author has managed to convey the deep love felt by the characters and at times it is unbelievably sexy and passionate.  There are a few surprises that caught me off guard too.  A really accomplished novel and well worth 5 stars.
